Do you travel to Lake George for headshots?
Yes. Louis is based in the Saratoga Lake area and drives up to Lake George for sessions at your resort, office, listing or a lakeside spot you love. Because Lake George sits outside our standard travel radius, travel is quoted per session — just tell us where you are when you book.
Do I need to come to you for the shoot?
There isn't one, and that's by design. Every session happens where you are: a hotel lobby, a brokerage office, a marina, or a quiet stretch of shoreline. We bring the lighting and backdrop, so the results look polished wherever we set up.
Can we shoot outdoors by the water?
Absolutely — waterfront portraits are one of the best reasons to photograph in Lake George. Early morning and late afternoon give the softest light over the lake. If the weather turns, we can move under a porch or indoors without losing the look.
How do headshot days work for resorts and hospitality teams?
We set up in a meeting room, back office or quiet corner of the property and photograph staff in short time slots between shifts, so the front desk and dining room stay covered. Every person gets matching lighting and framing. Teams of 9 or fewer are $125 per person, 10 or more are $95 per person, with a $395 on-location minimum. Travel to Lake George is quoted per session, and new hires get free headshots for 6 months afterward.
What does an individual session include?
Thirty minutes of shooting for $145, with 3 professionally retouched images. That's plenty of time to try a jacket on and off, step outside for a lakeside frame, and settle into a natural expression.

Along with Lake George Village, we photograph clients in Bolton Landing, Diamond Point, Lake Luzerne, Warrensburg, Queensbury and Glens Falls. Travel for each session is quoted up front, so you know the full cost before we head north.
What should I wear?
Dress the way your clients expect to meet you. Solid, mid-tone colors work best; skip loud patterns and logos. For outdoor lake portraits, a light layer or blazer photographs well and adds a second look. Bring a spare top so we have options.
